Welcome to the New 4H year!!

It's a new year for everyone, new school year, new 4H year as well. We held our first meeting of the year on Sept 8th at 6:30 pm. The purpose of this meeting was to get a little organized and make some plans for the year.
We have some new exciting things coming up in the next few months so be sure and come to the meetings and participate!

* We have a new County Extension Agent this year. His name is Justin Gilliam, he comes to Archer County from Throckmorton, we are very excited to have him. We are hoping to have him as a guest at an upcoming meeting so everyone can meet and get to know him. Welcome to Archer County Justin!

* The next meeting will be held on October 13, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Methodist Church. Some of the agenda is below:
* Election of Officers for Holliday 4H Club
* Club T-shirt for County show
* Set date for Trash pick up later in October.
* Brief discussion of photography and set up possible workshop in Early November.

* If you haven't already please make a point to send us an email(click on email on the right side of this page) to make sure we get your email address to send out updates and notices.

* This website is going to serve as our main mode of communication this year. We will update with information for meetings, upcoming deadlines , information about the county show when it becomes available. Please be sure and bookmark it and check back often. If you have any questions or comments you can either email us or just leave a comment at the bottom of the posts.. we will answer you as soon as we can.

COMING UP:
Information about the Archer County Junior Livestock Show, as information becomes available we will be putting up here. As soon as the show board meets that information should be posted shortly after. So be sure and check back here.


We just want to take a second to say thank you for your participation in Holliday 4H this year. We are going to try very hard make this year the best yet for these kids. We will be sending home notices from school for the next meeting as well.
